UMC Telemedia was incorporated as propritorship concern in the year 2006 (January) to make feature film and TV. Serial based on prevaling issue in society. Miss Madhushree Dugar of Sri Shantilal Dugar and eminent Chartered Accountant based at Kolkata is very Enthusiastic in dance and drama and bubbling with new ideas always wanted to do some creative considering her talent and enthusiasm and past record of her many stage performance in dance drama and debate , her father launched her in this line with full support.
Management
Though technically Ms. Dugar is the propretior of the firm but day to day affairs are looked after by sri Shanti lal dugar a Chartered Accountant by profession and his technical team comprising of veterans and fellow members of film an TV. fraternity and Governed by Advisory Board.
Vision
The Moto of forming this Banner of UMC Telemedia is only to make TV. Serials and films based purely on social issues and to promote art and culture of Bengal to the masses. This is our commitment not deviat from our mission and commit all our enduvears which will help the society at large.
Past Work
Our first production came in the from of feature film namely " Manush Bhoot" based on the story of Syed Mustafa Siraz an eminent writer of Bengal. The film is based on so called superstition prevailing in the society like witch and Ghost in this upgrading society our rural masses still live in the era of witch and ghost. We took this challenge and tried our best to sen a very positive message to society against this evil of witch and ghost by this film. This movie is widely acclaimed and praised for the excellent work by entire media/reviews art to be read to belive.
Anandlok fairever award given by Ananda Bazar Patrika group every year ha awarded on 18th November 2006 at a Gala programme held in science city auditorium in in the presence of Bollywood and Tollywood personality. As "Best movie for the year 2006 on social message"
